Luna Lovegood was a witch, born on 13 February 1981. She was the only child and daughter of Xenophilius and Pandora Lovegood. When Luna was nine, her mother accidentally died while experimenting with spells. Luna attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1992-1999 and was sorted into Ravenclaw House. In her fourth year, Luna joined Dumbledore’s Army. An organisation taught and led by Harry Potter, the Dumbledore’s Army was critical during the fight against Voldemort and Luna was an important member. She participated in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996) and the Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997). She also co-led the reconstituted Dumbledore’s Army when Hogwarts fell under the control of Lord Voldemort with Severus Snape as headmaster.
Because of her father’s political disagreement at the time, Luna was abducted by Death Eaters. She was then held as ransom and imprisoned in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor for months. She was freed by Dobby along with several other prisoners in the spring of 1998. After her release, she stayed at Shell Cottage until she returned to Hogwarts to participate in the final battle of the Second Wizarding War.
After the war, Luna became a Magizoologist (Studies magical creatures). Luna Lovegood eventually married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of Newt Scamander, a famed Magizoologist himself. She later had twin sons, Lorcan and Lysander. Luna’s good friends Harry and Ginny Potter also named their daughter and third child, Lily Luna Potter, in honour of her.

Bellatrix Lestrange, Harry Potter Series
₹250.00An original Musings of a Reader design, our inspirational quote inspired notebook is the perfect travel companion. Compact in size, just drop it into your bag and write your notes anywhere you go.
The quote on the notebook is inspired by the character of Bellatrix Lestrange from the Harry Potter series. Below is the quote that inspires the design of this notebook.
Hatred rose in Harry such as he had never known before. He flung himself out from behind the fountain and bellowed “Crucio!” Bellatrix screamed. The spell had knocked her off her feet, but she did not writhe and shriek with pain as Neville had — she was already on her feet again, breathless, no longer laughing.
Harry dodged behind the golden fountain again — her counterspell hit the head of the handsome wizard, which was blown off and landed twenty feet away, gouging long scratches into the wooden floor. Never used an Unforgivable Curse before, have you, boy? she yelled. She had abandoned her baby voice now. You need to mean them, Potter! You need to really want to cause pain — to enjoy it – righteous anger won’t hurt me for long. I’ll show you how it is done, shall I? I’ll give you a lesson.
